Sylvio da Matta Behring is 8º degree red/black belt and son of Grand Master Flavio Behring. He started in Jiu Jitsu in 1966 and is graded under GM João Alberto Barreto, Alvaro Barreto and Flavio Behring.
He is the CBJJD President, JJDRIO Vice President, JJGF Commissioner and the Leader of Sylvio Behring Association(SBA).
Master Sylvio Behring has created the “Sistema Progressivo de Jiu Jitsu/Jiu Jitsu Progressive System” and is the coauthor of the book “Gerenciamento Progressivo de Comportamento Inconveniente/Inappropriate Behavior Progressive Management”.
As an advanced Self Defense, Law Enforcement and Security Instructor, he provides all levels for courses, workshops, seminars and private classes.
